Fantastic for coping with other people’s scanners

I get a lot of reports of our networked database “not working” when people try to upload HUGE pdfs (e.g. 16MB files that are just a couple of pages of bw text). With users spread across the globe all using different scanners, and clearly not really understanding their scanner settings, this is a godsend for getting the documents down to a size that won’t defeat our networked database’s storage and upload capacity.
